Naming what kind of insitution your account is for helps us provide you with the most relevant resources depending on whether it’s a parish, school, or university, religious order, or other organization. If you select “other” for your account type, someone on the CathCAP team will contact you to determine how to best support your participation in this program.
The CathCAP Group Representative (or “Group Rep”) is the person authorized by the leadership of an organization participating in CathCAP to serve as that organization’s liaison with the CathCAP Coordinator and staff. In this role, Group Reps will receive relevant resources and promotional materials in order to involve people at the participating institution. They will also communicate the institution’s and participating groups’ intentions to the CathCAP Team.
Group Reps should consult with other community members and groups. In order to create an account, they must represent at least one group of constituents, for example a committee, a department, or the institution’s leadership. Additional groups may opt to participate as the project moves forward.
Examples of relevant groups: a committee, a department, or the leadership of your institution.
The Director of the Institution is the person at your institution who authorizes its participation with CathCAP. For most institutions this person could be the lead administrator.
The text of an appropriate MOU may be found here. It reviews the guidelines of the program and affirms your institution’s support for participation in this collaboration.
If you create an account, a contribution page will be created for your institution with the following elements:
- The name of your institution
- Custom colors
Your page can also include your emblem or logo. If desired, you may upload a logo or emblem as well. (recommended size: 400 x 400 pixels, transparent background)
